Big Book, Little Book: A book group for parents and babies

We are a group of women who met at the Pregnancy and Parents Centre and who love to read for leisure and pleasure. We’re starting up a book group and would love some more parents to join us.

Big Book:

The group will meet monthly to talk about a book we’ve been reading together. We’ll be reading books that we can access for free, with support from Edinburgh City Libraries. We’ll select books that are fun and easy to read but weighty enough to get a discussion going. We’ll drink tea and eat cakes, socialise and exercise our brains.

Little Book:

Our babies will join us and play together as we chat, drink, eat and feed. Each week, we’ll bring books that we think they’ll like and share these, reading aloud to the group.

Please come and join us as we start on this journey together. EVERYONE welcome.

No cost but a £2 donation for the PPC per session would be appreciated to cover teas and biscuits etc.
