Applicants will have good communication skills and be able to work well within our small team.  The Board of Directors meet regularly to oversee the financial stability and strategic direction of the Centre and provide assistance with some of the day to day decision making and centre activities.

 Applicants will support the aims, objectives and values of the Centre. Ideally they will have some knowledge of the issues facing pregnant women, new mothers and their families, as well as some understanding about the wider implications of becoming a parent.  While all applicants will be considered, the Board is particularly keen to recruit people with business skills and those familiar with community development.

Craniosacral Therapy is a very gentle form of body based therapy which is ideally suited for the pregnant woman and the newborn baby.  It works directly with the body’s own innate ability to move towards optimum health and functioning.  It is helpful for the mother preparing for birth and is probably the treatment of choice for the newborn, to help ease out any consequences of a less than ideal birth.

If you have generously given money to the centre in the past and you are/were a UK tax payer, you could help us again, at no extra cost to you, by filling out a Gift Aid declaration form. 

This government scheme enables the centre to claim back 20p on every pound donated to the centre in the past 6 years by basic and higher rate UK tax payers, and, if all possible donors sign up, it could help us collect a vital windfall to fund our work. 

However we can only do this if we collect written consent from each donor to say that we can claim back the tax paid on their generous contributions.
