NEARLY NEW SALE

Our nearly new sales and information days are great opportunities to pick up pre-loved baby and maternity clothes, equipment, real nappies and toys at bargain prices.

We have a fantastic cafe with delicious home baking and (if volunteering allows for) savoury food too.

In addition it is a great chance to meet all the friendly folks who make the PPC, well, the PPC! You can chat to our facilitators, trustees and staff and find out what we do and what support you can find at the PPC.

The dates of our 2025 sales are below.

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT ACCEPT DONATIONS UNTIL THE WEEK OF EACH SALE DATE

Spring: Saturday 5th April 2025

Summer: Saturday 5th July 2025

Autumn: Saturday 18th October 2025

Donating to our sale

You can drop off your donations from Monday 31st March at:
188 Pleasance, EH8 9RT
Between 10am - 3pm

We can't accept donations after noon on Friday 4th April.

What can & can't we accept as donations?

Yes please to:

Baby clothes (upto 3 years old)
Maternity clothes
Equipment that can be taken away on the day on foot (if in doubt, check with our office)
Cloth nappies (not disposables - if you have unopened disposible nappies, any food bank would LOVE your donation)
Gro/sleep bags, baby accessories & bedding
Toys and books (children's books only)

No thank you to:

Car seats
Breast pumps (used)
Used bottles, teats and plastic good storage
Toiletries, lotions, creams, vitamins
Books, CDs or DVDs (on pregnancy or parenting)

INFO ABOUT VOLUNTEERING

What help do we need?

The NNS sales are our largest fundraising events and require lots of help to make them a success. You can help in the following ways:

Sorting through our donations
Helping us recycle what we can't sell
Be part of the setting up of the sale on the day before
Baking us a cake for our cafe
Being a helper on the sale date
Helping us post-sale with unsold items
