Baby First Aid Workshop (Online)

What is the PPC Online Baby First Aid Workshop?

We recognise how valuable basic first aid knowledge is as a parent and in life generally. Our Baby First Aid session is a non-certificated workshop aiming to give confidence to parents in dealing with common childhood emergencies.

At present the session is being delivered over Zoom. The workshop is facilitated live by Liz Foster who has a background in health care. To find out about Liz’s training and insurance in Baby & Child First Aid, please see the foot of this page.

The workshop uses demonstrations, videos, quizzes and class discussions. The course is hands on and participants are asked to make a ‘towel baby’ or bring a soft toy to the class to practice procedures such as CPR and choking.

We are also able to offer private Baby first aid workshops if you are a small group (up to 8) who wish to take part in the course together. Dates and prices can be discussed directly with the PPC by contacting the office on the details below.

Cost: Suggested donation is £20 per household – this allows couples to join and gain skills and also for partners to “drop in” if their work allows on that day. The donation includes follow up links from facilitator.  However, all our classes have concessionary rates as we never turn anyone due to financial constraint. Please contact us about this if you need to know more.
